These are my friends?

We have many couple friends that we hang out with and love to be with Two of our favorites are our friends Taylor and Sally and Chuck and Amy.

Taylor (Tay Tay the Musical) is a lawyer and Sally a interior decorator (also does crafts). They have two kids and do lots of running around to sports practices and scouts and travel a good bit Taylor often amazes us with his fluent Japanese and Simpsons impersonations...Sally hails from Shreveport/Bosshur...just kidding, but Louisana for sure. They also have this great cat that we intend to kidnap...pardon me...CATnap at some point in time. Additionally they own one SLAMMING green lamp! (more on that later Im sure!)

Chuck is a pastor at our church. He preaches about idols and actually living in reality and being a believer and what that looks like. Amy , in addition to teaching aerobics and pilates at the YMCA busily home schools three of their four girls. Their fourth girl is a toddler which only adds to the fun. Oh, and they are in the middle of a home remodel!

One fo the reasons that we love them so much because they are REAL and AUTHENTIC people. There for you when you are in a bad place, and able to rejoice with you with your successes. They are also LOADS of fun to be with.

When Taylor and Sally were remodeling their house we went there on the night of Amy's 40th birthday (in a limo no less) to see the progress. For no apparent reason, we all ended up in the bathroom at the same time. Someone suggested a picture of this odd venue and thus a weird and fun tradition was born: When we are together (and sometimes even when we are not ) we take pictures...in bathrooms...wherever we are.

Its proved to be interesting. Take a look:

At Patti's house during the summer after Ellie was born...

At the Berry's on 4th of July...

At the Wards....the Berry's had the flu ...We kept trying to take a "sad" picture mourning the fact that they werent there, but kept cracking up! (Look at Sally in this picture---she is hilarious!!!)

Finally we managed to stop giggling and took the one below.

The below pictures are from Eric's 38th birthday. We went to PR's and as much as we all wanted to...we declined a picture in the potty here.

Good friends are hard to finds...We love the ones that we have!!
