Until I was about 10 years old I thought of numbers as being either male or female. I thought the same thing about colors too, but in additon to have gender they also had partners.
Weird i know...
Colors I can see because they have a certain "male-nes' or "female-ness" to them, but numbers???
Here are the colors as I thought of them first Male and then Female:
Black and White
Blue and Red
Green and Orange
Brown and Yellow
Purple and Pink
Black and White were "old farts" and Blue and Red were "A-listers". Green and Orange were the "Wanna-bes" and Pink and Purple were the "Exotic Couple" . Brown and Yellow were just losers. Ick...who wanted to color with Brown or Yellow.
The numbers having gender have no rhyme or reason at all:
1 Female
2 Female
3 Female
4 Male
5 Male
6 Female
7 Female
8 Male
9 Female
10 Male
11 Male
12 Male
13 Female
14 Male... and on and on it goes...
Its odd, I know...do you think I could be like Russel Crowe in A Beautiful Mind???

Beautiful Mind wasn't the movie that came to mind. I was thinking more like Rain Man . . .
