Learning from the past

Things Ive learned from jobs Ive had in the past:

1. Dewey Decimal was not a lover of the slightly dyslexic. (Working in the library during college. This was problemtic during the shelving of books as I tend to transpose numbers)

2. Old houses sometimes have racoons in the attic. (Housesitting)

3. Always vaccum backwards to where you are plugged in. (Cleaning offices)

4. Kissing is not sexual harrassment when you do it willingly in the elevator. (Also cleaning offices)

5. When reading to prisoners in Cook County jail, its best not to wear perfume. (Educational assistance for inmates)

6. Small dogs do not enjoy wearing barrettes in their hair. (Dog walker)

7. Neither do small children. (Babysitting)

8. High heels, while sexy, are not for everywhere.(Again...dog walking)

9. Elevator tag can get you fired. (office cleaning)

10. So can making out when you should be cleaning. ( Office cleaning again...Yeah...it was a good summer)
