Its simple

In preparing for prom I got to visit a gorgeous home where the pre reception is going to be held. It was amazing. I wanted the house. I wanted the furniture. I wanted to location on the lake. I wanted the pool funiture and I wanted to zip code. The owner was very self deprecating however...fairly non-jaded about the surroundings. She even refered to the house as the "Gay Venetian Palace" as a homosexual couple designed this house.

On the way back Ulyses and I were talking about if you would want that kind of money. We both agreed that, "well, yes, who wouldnt when offered that kind of money...money that doesnt run out" It is beyond imagniation. This gracious person will volunteer to host a party for possibly up to 400 people without blinking an eye. Me...im having problems putting together an Easter lunch for 17 people without breaking the bank. I hit my secret stash of funds to cover the difference from our usual food budget.

That lifestyle if very attractive. Very desirable. I mean honestly wouldnt anyone love to not worry about money. I wonder what kind of freedom that brings and if it takes some of the simple sweetness out of life.

I tend to keep things kind of simple. Part of it I am sure is because we cannot afford otherwise, plus I wear like the same outifts over and over. Variety is nice, butthere is a simplicity of not having many things to clutter up life. It makes emptying the dishwasher easier, it makes taking care of things easier because you dont have alot to take care of. I wonder if there is a blessing in that.

you could think that you are just really spiritual cuz you aren't storing up for yourself treasure on earth... the fact that you can't afford those treasures is just a technicality.
