Last week Jeannie P. and I went out for a date!
I love this woman!!She is the mother of one of my favorite students of the past. I now have her daughter in class. She is one of those people who is just plan GIVING! Its like her mission in life is to serve other people. When I was asking her about her up bringing she told me that it was fairly functional. Im sure that it contributed to her ease of giving to others. She also met ther husband when she was five and they married when they both turned 7....JUST KIDDING...but her and John have been together since they were in High School. (and for the record John was voted HOTTEST SENIOR DAD Last year!)
Jeannie is like the best date a girl could have. She provided a babysiter (Shelby) and paid her...brought the girl and her friend dinner (Happy Meals), paid for Amigos and dessert after the movie too! Is she awesome or what? She claims it was for Teacher Appreciation week, but the fact of the matter is she is always this nice!!!
When I found out she watches NIP TUCK (my closet naughty addiction) I was like..." Jeannie...we could have been talking about this for years!!!!!"
Oh yeah, and Sandra Bullock.
Out of 5 stars Id give it 2...maybe 1.5.
First of all...Juilan McMahon was in a Sears issue SHORT SLEEVED button down with a TIE...ICK!
Second...He was a car salesman
Third...He had little face time and no body shots!!! (What the.....!!!!!)
Fourth...the movie reminded me of the movie MEMENTO only not as good. Its all confusing in terms of dealing with non-linear time and doesnt give enough hints early on for the viewer to figure it out. Annoying!
Lastly...The ending SUCKED! I wont ruin it for those of you who havent seen it, but it was cliche and predicable after a big traumatic moment!!
What I did like was the question that it posed. Sandra and Juilan have a marriage on the rocks and her premonition grants her the ablility to save the marriage... Or to not save it. Interesting concept knowing what she knows....
All in all...If I see Sandra Bullock on the street, Im going to ask her for my $8.50 back!
