We had our pre-prom reception at the Kirchman's home in Winter Park. Their house was designed by Marc Michaels who has his own decadant, over the top, amazing style. From what I understand he designed this house for he and his partner to live in. They have since split and put the house for rent.

The Kirchmans have since rented it. Sadly, Kenneth Kirchman passed away 6 weeks ago. His wife DeAnna and his neice will be moving out this weekend.

It is easily the most decadant, incredible, marvelous, awe-inspiring house I have ever been in. Truly it is museum worthy.

Check out these few pics and enjoy the view.

Deanna...our lovely hostess!

Entrance Courtyard. I was amazed at this lantern. It was big enough for a person to stand in!

Sink in the powder room. I felt like I was in Rome!

Back yard beside the pool.

View from the lake looking at the back yard and back courtyard.

Patio sitting area. I coveted these couches. I WANT THEM!!!

The patio bar. Look at that gorgeous blue tile!!

Patio eating area. Note the outside fireplace and gauzy curtains.

Stepping out into the back courtyard. Koi pond with papyrus plants.

The library. All leather and paneling.

Main living area.

Large kitchen. (not to be confused with the smaller scullery area or the servant kitchen!) I was in AWE of this kitchen. It is A-mazing!!!

Entry way couryard with the boar fountain.

Patti, I was looking at your pics of this home and thought you had sound effects of a door opening and low and behold I had to chuckle cause I was laying on the couch with my laptop and realized it was my stomach that was making the noises! I thought, I have to tell Patti this one, she will laugh right there with me. By the way, these new meds I am on for depression, makes me want to eat, thus the stomach growls saying FEED me all the time. Brenda
