Disney channel is pretty much okay. Its never really overtly pushing the envelope, but some of the topics can be too adult. We monitor.
Nickelodean is a little more pushy. I dont like all the stuff that is on that channel. The characters can be whiny and annoying or just plain mean. Not stuff the girl needs to be watching.
However, Sponge Bob is another matter entirely.
Know what I love about Sponge Bob?
Its not a cartoon that pretends to have redeeming qualities.
It is what it is.
It doesnt try to be teachy-teachy, or impart knowledge or moral values.
It is what it is.

OH don't even get my started on Spongebob!! He is probably one of the best creations in the world!! I could live off that dang sponge
