Target

Here's how it generally works.

I go in for something relatively small...a 12 pack of diet (caffeine free) Coke or detergent and come out 100 plus dollars lighter.

I LOVE TARGET!!!!

Seriously, today I went to get two gift certificates to give my aides ( the Lovely Sara and the diligent Kristen) who helped all year. Easy in, easy out right?

What did I walk away with?

A green button down tee shirt (It was on sale)

Two cards (well, the gift certificates HAD to have something to go into, right?)

6 striped beach towels (ours generally grow feet and walk during the year so I try to replentish at the beginning of the summer)

Toilet paper (we were out)

A pair of sunglasses (mine are scratched)

A pack of double A batteries (who doesnt need batteries?)

A box of peanut butter chocolate chunk granola bars (Target's ARE the best)

A cool water bottle for the girl (I try to make a little "Summer's HERE!" basket for her on the last day of school)

Flip flops (again...on sale)

A bag of Milanos (no longer in existence and danggggggggg were they good!)

Thank the Lord I only had 40 minutes!!

So true, so true.

I live 22 miles from the nearest Walmart, Target, non existant up here near me. I have to wait to go to my sisters in Roswell (2 hours) away to go. So when I know I am making the trip, I empty the trunk, and load up. My sister and I laugh cause we must begin 1/2 hour before I leave her house to get my car packed to head home for the drive. Sounds to me like you were stocking up for the hurricane out there in the gulf. Shoot, I think I might need to drive my 22 miles and STOCK up on something - batteries sound good and chocolate or cookies, to satisfy the urges. Dr. upped the meds again, the eating should increase again. Need to have reserves ya know. I will settle for Walmart, seeing Target is NOT available. You go girl
