Last night we had dinner with an old dear friend from our seminary days. We hadnt seen or his family for about 10 years.
B and H lived in the same apartment complex as we did all those years ago during seminary. Lotus Landing right on 434. We had a loft apartment and so did they! We had both gotten married the summer previously B and Eric went to seminary together and so it was an "insta-friendship." When they left Florida for Pittsburg it was just them two and now they have four children!
We were all commenting last night on how its like no time has passed. We still fall into the same rhythms ...the guys played PS2, we goofed off with the camera, ate take out and laid on the sofa and watched television. What is it about people who knew you when you were young...its like it shaves off some of the pretention or something.
Either way... it was a lovely night and we so enjoyed it! Thanks for coming over Brett! Hugs and kisses too to Holly, McKenna, Carson, Elena, and Brooklyn!

old friends are like old shoes... just plain comfortable... and you don't even mind their smell.
