Im almost done with the new Harry Potter.
I cant believe that I forgot to get it from A when we visited the day before we left. SIGH...I ended up caving and purchasing it in the airport of all places for the plane ride and the trip. Not quite done yet but loving every second of the story. Did anyone else get a bit confused at times trying to recall what everything was and what the significance of things were? I should have re read number 6 previous to starting this one.
One thing that I was thinking about is how the heros and heroine of the story have to cast protective spells around when they settle in at a certain place. It was reminding me of how important protection is.
I pray every day for protection for my family. Physical protection for sure...from sickness or injury. But also for emotional protection...from being abused or hurt from others...or from getting our significance from things that will fail us. Also for protection from temptation to do things we shouldnt or not do things we should.
I know God is faithful and hears these prayers. Imagine that...Harry Potter preaching the gospel to me.

Awesome thought! I do love the imagery of those scenes and now doubly so.
