Early Childhood Reading

Favorite reads from childhood:

GO, DOG, GO! by PD Eastman ( a classic. I love the party in the tree and the big hats!)

Happy Birthday to you by Dr. Seuss (Who doesnt love a birthday bird! We always laughed because the little boy skinny dips in this story)

The Story about Ping by Marjorie Flack and Kurt Weise ( I got this in my Easter basket when I was 6)

Never Miss a Sunset by Jannette Gilge (From the Bible bookstore in our town called HIS PLACE)

Nuka and Naji: the story of two little eskimos: by Wallace Curtsmak (My mom bought this for me when she journeyed to Canada)

The entire Little House on the Prarie Series: by Laura Ingalls Wilder (Enough said)

The All-of-a-Kind-Family Series by Sydney Taylor (Think Jewish family in the lower east side during the turn of the century)

Pippi Longstocking by Astrid Lundgrin (I thought it was weird that she had no parents but loved the books! I found her randomness fascinating and scary all at the same time!)

A Wrinkle in Time: by Madeline L'Engle ( I sweaer I read this book more times than any other. It was continually water logged from be reading it while bathing!)
