Mood Rings

This ran across my mind the other day.

A mood ring. I can remember wanting one and wanting one and WANTING ONE as a 3rd or 4th grader.

My parents...being wise, did not get one for me immediately but one night my dad came home and asked me to come into the bedroom for a minute because he wanted to talk to me. This was never a good sign and I remember quickly ticking through my mind all the things that I could possibly have done that I was getting in trouble for.

After emptying his pockets of change and what not he sat on the edge of the bed and pulled a little box out of his pocket and opened it up...there was the mood ring.

I squealed like only girls of that age can and he put it on my finger. I can remember being just SOOO stinking excited and happy and throwing my arms around him to hug and kiss him and looking at the ring and then hugging him again....

The ring turned bright blue....the color for joy and happiness.

Yes, I remember mood rings. Those were fun!
Now a days you can read my mood by my hair...
big, full hair= great mood
flat hair, no body= don't make eye contact with me

Does PMS have a color? If I had a mood ring, hmmmm mine would look like a neon sign with it's on switch stuck in the on position.
Gotta love it.

Mood rings... now there's a topic I haven't EVER thought about (except when i was in junior high, and EVERYONE had one.) I'm with Brenda... they need to develop a PMS mood ring. It would be so helpful for hubbies, family, and friends. If it's glowing, stay clear!

For some women the PMS mood ring would always be glowing. I don't know of any women out there like that... I'm just sayin'...
