I am totally with you regarding the Netherland's meaning of Pledge (furniture polish). Pledge (tm) is a SC Johnson Wax product (logo: a Family company). S.C. Johnson is my great great grandfather (really, I swear), but only males got stock in the family company. Since my great grandmother wasn't a male, I am not a trust fund baby with all my desires cartered for. Where the helk are the feminists when I need them. I could be rich because of my great-great granddaddy instead of having to work for a living! dang it! Man, life, sure ain't fair. Am I just bitter?
Oh, and, those other trivia facts were interesting too.
