Sleepy

Im so tired today.

I know Ive been busy with life, but honestly I am more tired than usual. I need the weekends to recharge and when they are busy it doesnt help me gear up for the next week. What is hard is that having being busy is usually so much fun!!

Take yesterday for example....it was a lovely day, but very tiring. Brandi and I, after grabbing a bagel and coffee at Panera, went to the Southern Women's show down at the convention center. I am not lying when I say to you that I have never arrived at the convention center via the same path....I never ACTUALLY know how to get there, just know about where it is. We found it finally, after a short stop at Universal Studios...

We spent about 4 hours there, just checking things out, buying this or that...B got a gorgeous purse...we both added to our stacking toe rings from this awesome merchant who sells silver rings...we wine tested several different wines and just had a good time hanging out!

In the late afternoon the girl and I headed down to Disney to see my Aunt and Uncle, my cousin and his lovely wife and their three children. Its always so great to connect with family. I love both of my materal aunts very much...they are just incredible women. And my cousins Mark and Leanna are just lovely down to earth people. They are so normal its refreshing. We just chatted for several hours at the pool at the Carribean Beach Resort. You know how good it is with people who know your history and know you for who you are. Mark and Leanna have a daughter who is the girl's age and they were immediate friends. At the end of the evening there were sad goodbyes as if they had been life long friends. Isnt that so fun how kids just make friends...its like..."Hey youre about my size...lets be friends"!

This morning I woke up very draggy but deterimined to go to Sunday School and Church. I have not been diligent with attending Sunday School and I do so enjoy it..its mostly the constant battle of just "GETTING" there that is tough. However our class is discussing parenting your child by dealing with their heart and not just their actions....very interesting to me. BUT, the girl came into the bedroom and I noticed that one of her glands below her jawline was so swollen that it was disfiguring her face a bit...it was that swollen and tender.

So off we went to Centre Care...unfortunately it was a 2 hour wait and so we went to the Minute Clinic at CVS instead. I love these things...its the best invention!!! A physician's assistance in the same place as a PHARMACY...its brilliant! Bless her heart, she has a double ear infection both inner and outter ear and one very swollen lymph gland. NICCCCCEEE!! Here she had been complaining about it for about a week now and I just kept saying it was fine...that will show me.

For now, im off to catch something easy on television...you know, a good lazy Sunday afternoon movie. Hopefully Ill be able to recharge a bit for tomorrow.
