She did it!
She got her ears pierced!!
She had permission at 9 years old to get it done but was too scared of the pain.
Last Thursday we were in the mall, with a friend, and after lots of sighs and anxious looks she said she wanted it done.
She was totally brave and didnt cry. And was so proud of herself for doing it!
I teared up. So proud of her for being brave and doing something she wanted to do even though it would be hard and a little painful.

In other news around town...
I finally finished my two classes. Im waiting for the grades, but glad to be finished and pretty sure I did well from the grades that have been posted. I really enjoyed them despite the work and did learn a lot about school counseling and the legal and ethical standards that surround counseling. I have always wanted to get my masters and this is something I would definately like to pursue in this field. That said, I will not be waiting another five years to begin working on my continuing education requirements for my professional teaching certificate! (**note to self, must be on top of this!)

Im enjoying our book that we are doing for Bible study. This week the topic was tolerance and intolerance. What I enjoyed about the topic was that it focused on us being tolerant of other people, regardless of if we agree with their lives or not...that God calls us to love people and not judge them. On the intolerant end, the book advocated that we need to be intolerant of mediocrity, self-depreciating behavior and one other thing I cant remember off the top of my head. The book is not deep, but definately helpful with getting my mind in the right place again. Ive very much appreciated that.

Sadly, Im struggling with another sinus infection. Since Ive had one 4 times since January, Im going to be going to the doctor proper ( not the minute clinic as has been my habit during the school year...its fast and convenient) on Thursday to get some heavy duty antibiotics. Im tired of walking around with a vise on my head. I guess its just where my weak spot is physically. Either way, Im over it and ready to be feeling back at 100 %!
