Fish or Cut Bait

The other day I saw Sassy in carpool line and I stopped to chat with her. It had been long day. After briefly chatting I told her, "Im going to go now because I have nothing to really say and Im boring myself..."

I really hate it when people waste your time with nothing say. Seriously, its one of my pet peeves. I mean blah blah blah blah blah....either tell me something worth knowing or move it along.

In light of that... Ill end my blog for today here.

JUST KIDDING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Let me give you an update:

Really we are in a holding pattern of sorts. Just waiting for little Miss to make her appearance, and living our lives as normal. Its kind of anxiety producing because Im like I want it to get here already and for us to move into the next stage. Im alot anxious about all the transitions that will take place in the next few months. Im just getting my sea legs now at work and soon that will change and Ill be home. Then after about a month off Ill head back to work part-time and the juggling act will begin. Really, it will be January before I get any semblance of order in my life. Maybe not even until the summer! Oh my...and then...wait...THEN....ILL HAVE AN 8 MONTH OLD!! whoa!!

The girl's schedule is getting crazy too! Im experiencing what its like to have your child involved in a sport. Its not much, but believe me, after working all day, its enough. They have practice twice a week from 5 30 - 7:30 and games on Saturdays. The driving back and forth to school and to the other end of town is driving me crazy!! Im trying to be grateful that she is enjoying a sport and also to realize that my being present is important...I dont need to wish it away. Still, Im tired. And tonite starts youth group! Ill be helping out with the kick off which is great and then Sunday nights start up...Im remembering my own mother and dad and all the running around they did with us. I know its normal, but certainly a new level for us.

So on we go...the waiting game.
