Yes, its true...she has arrived!
Our sweet baby arrived into the world on the 29th in the evening. She is healthy and has 10 fingers and 10 toes! She is 8 lbs and 3 oz and 19 1/2 inches...THATS A BIG BABY!! Im so excited! I love chubby babies!!!
We have not been able to see her yet and wont until either later this evening or more likely on Friday!
The anticipation is so exciting and high and its really hard to wait knowing that she is here already. However, we can so feel people's prayers for us because somehow its okay. There is really nothing we can do to make it go faster or go better...it is truly out of our control. This is an odd feeling for me personally...to be out of control and be okay with it. It MUST be the Lord because this isnt my nature. THANK YOU FOR YOUR PRAYERS!!
If you think of it today, please pray for the birth mother as she signs consent. We have been diligently praying for her but I cannot imagine the courage it takes for her to do this. It is an amazingly self-less act of love. Pray for us as we wait...that we can be flexible with going when we need to go and waiting when we need to wait.
