I finally finished the last book of the TWILIGHT series. Thanks to Jessie N for letting me borrow her books and for the good conversations on the topics of love and blood and relationships that the book brings up. Interestingly enough, even though a book on vampires, it had a tremendous amount of Christiological focus. As C. Berry would say, "We cant help but tell our stories!"
Its definately a good read...probably not Harry Potter good, but its really a different TYPE of writing than Harry. And it requires a committment to get through all four but its worth it as the author definately builds her work, both within the books and between the books.
I detest books that end, shall we say, shoddily. (I have been know to throw books across the room upon reading a shoddy ending with the exclaimation, "ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?")This one didnt disappoint and really the story was told until the very last pages of the book.
For me really good books endswith the longing to keep reading...the wondering of what happens next. This series is definately one of those.
