I love my man!

Im always suprised when life isnt easy.

I dont know why...it should be surprised when things go well really. A week like this makes me exceedingly grateful for what I have right now--warts and all.

I was reminded this late last night, after the coughing girl finally fell asleep (thank you Nyquill!!) and the Baby Girl was given a bottle even though it wasnt her usual time. E went to change her. The monitor that sits in our room has the reciever right on a shelf above the changing table. Through the speaker I heard E singing.

I popped my head up to listen more closely thinking it would be a sweet lullabye that he was crooning.

Instead I heard,

" WE'LL GO HONKY TONKING DOWN IN (farting noise)

LOU'SEE'ANA, WHERE THE (farting noise)

BISCUITS AND GRAVEY FLOW LIKE (farting noise)

WATER AND HONEY...."

When he came to our room a few minutes later, I waited until he was all in bed and quiet and said,

Nice lullabye."

and he says...

"That wasn't for Claire, darling...that was for you!"

What a romantic!!! American men are so awesome! In my native country, my man never sings while farting.
You lucky girl!!

Good thing he didn't have the covers up over their heads that time, it would have been muffled and you would never had heard the true words. Men have a way of putting the covers up over heads when they fart! He spared baby Claire that pleasure huh? Great story.Bren
