Last night E and I were flipping around the channels and found Grease on VH1. What a great movie...its so totally classic. I can remember my sister and I pouring over the record jacket when we were little. My mother wouldnt actually let us buy the record so when our neighbor Laura got it we were forever begging her to let us borrow it. THEN my sister bought the book from the used bookstore and only let me read it AFTER she was finished no matter how much I begged--then I had to read it secretly because I was "too young". Watching the movie it occured to me how sexual the whole thing is.
What is it about John Travolta singing and dancingnthat just makes me laugh like a giddy teenager?
Favorite character: Knickie, great hair, cool cool coolllllllllllll
Favorite dance scene: Summer Nights: Danny and Knickie and the gang dancing on the bleachers. I want to dance myself.
A close second: Greased Lightning of course...or maybe the ending scene...
Best line: "A hickey from Knickie is like a Hallmark...when you care enough to send the very best"
Best Pink Lady: Marty by far...she is so totally blonde. Funny and clueless.
It made my night...I can still sing every word to every song.

I also watched it yesterday and i loved it. when i was little my mom wouldn't let me watch it either but i didn't understand why! one time we (me rachel and my cousin- the one that we like) watched grease then can out of the room in my g-mas really hooker like night gowns and started singing "ohhhh sandy i want you sandy!" my mom was appalled but oh well it seems funny now!
Danny was my favorite character of course! How could you not love John Travolta in that movie...he was a cutie! Girl character would be Rizzo. She cracks my ass up!
i watched that too! i was babysitting and the kids were in bed. i enjoyed it. i had been such a long since i had seen it. goood movie! :)
