Its the little things

Sunday was such a gorgeous day. I was just feeling so irritated with the heat and what not when that little cool front came through...it was so nice.

I walked in the early moring, made it to Sunday School AND church, we grilled out for lunch and then just hung out for a bit...the girl swam and E and I talked about stuff. So nice just to sit and BE for once. (and be getting along...)
Long about 4pm we wrassled up the neighbors and headed over to Jeremiah's for some Italian Ice. It was so gorgeous out with the wind and the sun and the cooler weather. We ended up doing a quick run into Publix for bread and drove over to Lake Lily to feed the ducks.

The kids were precious.
Kaitlin has a deep affinity for our neighbor Jacob...they have a sweet innocent friendship and just enjoy being kids together. It was such a joy to see her running over the grass in the wind, with her hair all over the place and arrive breathless to us to giggle about something only to dart off again.

Life is truly in the little things. Im sooo grateful for those little glimpses of heaven.

Isn't it interesting how just a slight temperature and humidity change can change our perspective on things? I truly loved Sunday too. I think we're in for rain for the next day or so with the tropical depression blowing through. I'm listening to the weather right now and they're forecasting thunderstorms for tomorrow and Wednesday. HOWEVER, Saturday and Sunday this week are supposed to be PRETTY nice!

Sunday, here in GA was gorgeous for us as well. I took a brief nap in between writing my paper for my nutrition class (I think I dreamt about food) and then sat on the back porch wishing I had taken my nap on the loveseat I have out there. I was a clear sky and perfect temps. You stand out in it and almost drink it in through you skin. I love it.
