Sex and the City

Right or wrong, I seriously cannot wait to see the Sex and the City movie.

Yes, yes, yes...they are completely non-Biblical in their concept of sex. At times I have wanted to scream at the screen "Honey, he aint gonna buy the cow if the milk is free..."BUT...I do enjoy this show for the way it shows that not everything is always rosy in life. I love that in the show, actions do have consequences...that not everything ends up in a nice neat bow.

I enjoy that Carrie is so flawed and messy and needy at times even though she doesnt think that she is. I love that Charlotte is (what she thinks) the perfect WASP and all that entails but in her pursuit of all that is WASPy she finds herself at a place that is not where she wants to be. I like that Miranda thinks she can handle anything by herself....that she is tough and non emotional, but that the man she marries is the one who pushes her towards her softer side. And I love that Samantha has grown through the show to not just be a "woman who has sex like a man" but one who actually can have a relationship.

Yes, I know its a complete indulgence, but I do so enjoy good characters and a good story line.
