A friend sent me the following in an email and it was very interesting to me.

Take a good look at the diet of each country and the cost of what is eaten
in one week.

How much do I spend? About $100.00 a week on a family of three.

what really gets to me is the fact that In 1980 I spent $80 a week on groceries... now it's about $200.00, and I try to buy as little as possible.
