Yes, this time of year I get very homesick for Chicago and for the fall. I miss the cooler weather so much its torture for me when I go outside and its like getting hit with a warm wet rag in your face its so hot and humid out still. Seriously, Im so looking forward to a change in the weather. I remember when I was pregnant with Kaitlin I was so sick and so HOT and so nauseous that I bought the video Its the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown because it made me remember being a kid during the fall and enjoying the cold weather and the fall "feel"
February is my favorite month in Florida. Mostly because it feels the same as October up north.

Patti, come visit us in Franklin! It is awesome weather, though Matthew thinks it's already winter, the poor kid is going to freeze here this winter. Fall has always been my favorite season as well, and I missed it terribly in FL. so I will enjoy it here for you. I totally get how you feel right now.

I too am so over this hot weather. Atleast we'll be sitting here in nice cool weather during the "winter" while it's all gloomy and miserable and FREEZING up north!! That's a plus! ha!

And I'm enjoying the beach in mid-September. I'll see you around next week sporting my tan. Marie and I got fall/holiday candles the other day though to get us in the mood.
We are seeing all the fall stuff come out and Nick bought me 3 bales of hay this past week for my "fall" area. It is my favorite time of the year too. I LOVE the change of seasons. It reminds me of living in Western NY and PA. The people up here go hog wild with fall decor. You are always welcome here in the Mountains! Come visit.
