Tidbits...

My mom is here from Chicago for a visit. She came especially for Grandparents day. The girl is loving the gramma attention. Mom bought her some special fuzzy yarn today at Joannes ETC and has been working on crocheting with her. I love it that she is learning one of those "lost arts".

Mom does another "lost art" in my house, the art of cooking. I love when she cooks and she loves to cook. Because she works full time outside the home, staying home and cooking, watching daytime television and sleeping in is a true vacation for her. Tonite she is making her famous chocolate cake with white frosting. YUM!! Of course no entree or baked good comes without the phrase..."You could do this Patti, its easy." Yeah yeah yeah.... (im laughing) 'Tis a small price to pay.

Tonite we will continue our Chinese checker tournament that has lasted for three years. She is winning right now as she is a pro. Seriously. She used to play pro. (Kidding...she is rawther good though!) Ill post some pics another day!

Speaking of tomorrow....HAPPY VALENTINES day! And just remember, its not VD day (Taylor and E!!)

We'll be going to the VAN HALEN CONCERT tomorrow. Im so excited. I plan to wear my hair big, have huge hoop earing, put on my stone washed narrow legged jeans and my George Michael FAITH tour tee shirt...PHTtttttttttttttttt yeah right, like any of it would fit anymore. Plus my husband would not condescend to be seen with me in such attire if you remember our altercation over the 'redneck wear' for the Monster Truck Jam.
